Area Lakes

Cedar Lake is a 837-acre lake located about four miles northwest of the City of Maple Lake in Corinna Township. It has a maximum depth of 108 feet and three lake accesses. A state-owned, concrete access is located off County Road 6 on the northwest side of the lake, a concrete township access can be found on the northeast side of the lake, and another access and a fishing pier is located in Schroeder Park on the north end of the lake, it is a concrete launch and is county-owned. There is a marked swimming area at Schroeder Park, but no lifeguard. Camp Courage is located on the east side of the lake. Fishing report: Cedar Lake is most notably the best walleye lake in the area, providing great fishing year-round, especially during the ice-fishing season.

Indian Lake is a 146-acre lake in Corinna Township with a maximum depth of 31 feet. It is located about seven miles north of the City of Maple Lake and just east of Sugar Lake. A concrete access, owned by the Minnesota DNR, is located on the southeast side off County Road 123 and 102nd Street Northwest. Fishing report: Indian Lake has a consistent reputation for being an ideal panfish lake.

Lake Mary is a 209-acre lake with a maximum depth of about 102 feet and is located two miles north of the City of Maple Lake in Maple Lake Township and has one state-owned, concrete access on the northwest side of the lake, off Ferman Avenue NW. There is also a dock at the access near the Ney Park entrance. Fishing report: Lake Mary is a good lake for panfish and northern, but can also offer an above-average, all-around fishing experience.
