The Maple Lake Community Theater will have a general meeting at the V. F. W. on Oct. 3 at 7 p. m. to discuss its next production, “Alice in Wonderland.”

The 2011 garden club season is coming to an end. On Oct. 3 at 6:30 p. m., the club will clean the gardens and take care of any other duties. On Oct. 5, 6 p. m., they will meet at The Villa for their year-end dinner at the Wild Marsh in Buffalo. For more information, call 320-963-6915.

October 7 & 8 (8Hr. Full Course): October 7, 5:30 p. m. to 9:30 p. m., October 8th 8 a. m. to 12 p. m., Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 507 County Rd. 134, Buffalo

The Driver Improvement course is open to the public; pre-registration is requested. A MN Highway Safety & Research Center certified instructor teaches this class. By utilizing the most up-to-date research in the field, participants will be provided the latest information in regards to driver safety, new laws, and vehicle technology.
