Benefit for Ryan Holt set for Feb. 2

The “Reach Out For Ryan” Benefit will be held on February 2, 2003, from noon to 7 p.m. at the Champlin American Legion on Hwy. 169 & Hayden Lake Road.    In November, Ryan Holt, three-year-old son of Cari (Williams) Holt and Jeff Holt, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Cari, a 1988 graduate of Maple Lake High School, her husband Jeff, and children Taylor, Lauren, Ryan and Brandon, live in Buffalo.     Tickets for the benefit may be purchased at the door for $10 or from Chico Williams at 963-3387 or Dana Luc at 763-682-1440, anytime before the event.

There will be entertainment featuring two bands and a silent auction. Some items to be sold include a basketball signed by Kevin Garnett, a signed picture of Daunte Culpepper, quilts, microwave, theatre tickets, phone, remote control car, and much, much more. A pork chop dinner and drinks will also be available for purchase.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
