Public input sought on resource, conservation issues

The Wright Soil and Water Conservation District (WSWCD) and the Federal Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) seek public input on resource and conservation issues in Wright County.

These comments will be used to design the local priority needs for the federal Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and other state and local programs.

Comments will be accepted until June 17th. There will be a local work group that will meet on the 18th of June at 10 a.m. in the Wright SWCD office at 306C Brighton Avenue in Buffalo to discuss this issue. Comments may be forwarded by mail to the address above or e-mailed to kjs@mn.nrcs.usda. Comments may also be given orally at the June 18th meeting.

For more information, contact Kerry Saxton, SWCD office manager, at 763-682-1970.
