Elections and annual meetings for area townships took place on March 9. The following election results were announced:
Albion Township
Total Votes: 152
Supervisor: John Uecker (incumbent), 69; Brian Miller, 83. Clerk: Doris Raisanen (incumbent), 148.
Chatham Township
Total Votes: 29
Supervisor: Arnold Goerke (incumbent), 28. Clerk: Francis Munsterteiger (incumbent), 29.
Corinna Township
Total Votes: 170
Supervisor: Bill Lieb (incumbent), 107; Peter Flatten, 63.
Maple Lake Township
Total Votes: 94
Supervisor: Ronald Wolff, 18; Harold Harbinson (write-in), 21; Jerry Giebenhain (write-in), 52; and one write-in vote each for Mike Munstenteiger and Richard Giebenhain.
Silver Creek Township
Total Votes: 203
Supervisor: John Jones, 116; Teresa Abbott, 83.
Supervisor: Russell Nelson (incumbent), 71; Doug Schneider, 59; Rome Hutchings, 57; Bonnie Zavadil, 10.
