Bethlehem United celebrates 125th anniversary

From its beginnings in 1881, the Bethlehem United Church of Christ still continues to stay a strong, connected, mission-minded church.

On Saturday and Sunday, August 5th and 6th, the congregation is set to celebrate their 125th anniversary with a wide variety of events and services. One of Saturday’s main events during the evening will be a blue grass band that will be playing from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Church and community members are invited to fill the numerous tents, listen to the music, and enjoy the ice cream and pie social. There will be fun and treats for youngsters as well with a moon walk and root beer floats.

Pastor Jeff Palmer, who has been with the congregation for one year, also plans to join in the fun as he will be featured in the dunk tank.
