Lillian Hannon, Maple Lake

Lillian Hannon, age 83, of Maple Lake died Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Park View Care Center, Buffalo.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Maple Lake, with Fr. Mark Huberty officiating. Burial followed in St. Timothy’s Catholic Cemetery. Friends called from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, and 8:30-9:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There was a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lillian Hannon was born January 31, 1923, in Bruno, MN, to Archie and Marie (Saggau) St. Peter. She married Robert Hannon in San Diego, CA, and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1975. Lil was a homemaker and member of St. Timothy’s Church, Council of Catholic Women, Lady Foresters, Legion Club Post #131 Auxiliary and VFW Post #7664 Auxiliary.

She is survived by children and their spouses, Patrick and Mildred Hannon of Big Lake, Marge and Jim Peterson of Maple Lake, Terry and Ben Jude of Maple Lake, Casey and Dan Sayles of Morris; nine grandsons, Joe Hannon, Mike, John and Dan Peterson, Jim and Todd Jude, Robert, Kirby and Toby Sayles; four granddaughters, Diana Braun, Heidi Goelz, Sara Peterson, Hannah Sayles; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marge Ward of Maple Lake, Eileen Morey of Maple Lake; and special cousin, Sister Elise Saggau of St. Paul. Her husband; grandson, Noah Sayles; sister, Marge Gilchrist; and brother, Donald St. Peter; preceded her in death.

The arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.
