School plans community forum

Maple Lake School District 881 will be hosting a community forum at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, to present information and respond to residents’ questions about the school referendum that will be on the Feb. 20 Special Election ballot.

Superintendent Mark Redemske will open the forum with a presentation and then take questions from the audience. The meeting will be held in the high school board room.

There will be one referendum question on the Feb. 20 ballot for voters in the Maple Lake School District. The question is a request for a building bond levy of $9,525,000 for additional classroom space, special education space, elementary cafeteria and physical education space, storage space and to address safety and maintenance items.
