Catholic Schools’ Week activites continue

St. Timothy’s School’s celebration of Catholic Schools’ Week will continue until Feb. 2. The penny challenge will conclude Friday. Each day at lunch, students are allowed to put pennies in their class bucket or sabotage another class with silver or dollars in their class buckets. On Friday, all pennies will be counted and winners will be determined. Proceeds will benefit the St. Timothy’s Scholarship Fund. A collection of baby items and cash for Birthright of Monticello will conclude at the end of the week. Birthright is a nonprofit organization offering counseling, legal help, medical and financial assistance to pregnant women. The medallion hunt will take place throughout the week, with students receiving daily clues to help them find the medallion and win a prize. Thursday will be Dress Up Day. Mass will be at 9 a.m., family hot lunch day will be at 11:15 a.m. and the Batttle of the Books will be from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. for third and fourth graders and 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. for fifth and sixth graders. Friday, Sports Day, will have lunch served at 11 a.m. and roller skating.
