Youngs noted the big increase in cross country numbers this year to 62 participants and said those kids worked hard to produce an enjoyable season. One highlight of the season was junior Greg Dorow’s performance at the section meet where he came within four seconds of earning a trip to state. “We have a good chance to send kids to state in the near future,” Youngs said, urging athletes to work hard in the off-season.
