The Irish gymnastics team took on Becker on Tuesday, Jan. 8. The girls finished with a season high score of 126.775, behind Becker, who scored a 138.550. The outcome of the meet may not have been what they wanted, but the coaches were proud. “We definitely had our best meet of the year, on both varsity and JV. It was great to see the girls fight through their fear and attempt skills they had not competed in a meet before,” assistant coach Paul Fouquette said. The girls took on the vault. Jordan Sifferle scored a 9.150, Courtney Pribyl scored an 8.550, Marisa Henrikson scored an 8.200, Heather Schlueter scored an 8.000, and Delaney Sifferle scored an 8.350. The event total was 34.250.
