On Tuesday the Maple Lake boys’ basketball team hosted Eden Valley-Watkins for a conference game. The Irish were able to dominate most parts of the game and won by a score of 76-44.
The keys in this victory were solid defense and good shooting, which put the Eagles behind early.  The Irish led the game 40-21 at halftime, and never looked back until the final buzzer, which put them up by 32 points by the end of the game.
“We played one of our best all around games,” said Coach Tim Staloch. “We shot the ball well and did a good job on the defensive end.”
The Irish were led by senior Mitch Wurm who scored 31 points, and sophomore Donnie Mavencamp and junior Joe Mooney who both were in double digits.
