Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church in Becker for James D. Hadac, age 65, who passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 28, surrounded by his loving family. Rev. Richard Wehrs will officiate. Friends and relatives may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 1, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker and also one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
James Douglas Hadac was born on October 23, 1945, in St. Paul, to James and Mildred (Sedivy) Hadac. He grew up in Northfield and graduated from Northfield High School in 1964. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy for four years. On August 1st, 1970, he married Cheryl Glor in Northfield. Jim worked in hydraulic sales his entire career, most recently for Oil Air Company. He was a member of Maple Lake VFW Post 7664. He enjoyed golfing, restoring classic cars, hunting, fishing and flying. Jim loved spending time with family and friends, and especially cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cheryl of Becker; daughters, Stacy (Jeff) Yager and Jodi (Matthew) Kobow, both of Becker; grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas and Bailey Vieau and Austin and Ryan Rasmussen; and sister, Betsy (Jerry Simon) Hadac of Oronoco. Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
