Marjorie Evelyn Elletson, age 85, of Buffalo passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011, at The Annandale Care Center.
 Funeral services for Marjorie E. Elletson were held on Thursday, June 30th, at 11 a.m. at The United Methodist Church in Buffalo. Pastor Jef Olson officiated. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo. A visitation was held on Wednesday, June 29, from 4-8 p.m. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Further visitation was held at the church on Thursday, June 30, one hour prior to services. Honorary casket bearers were granddaughters, Kari Miller, Julie Volk, Cheryl Bergstrom, Bonnie Elletson, Kristi Hill, Robin Byers, Jennifer Brown, Richelle Yager, JaDee Pals, Valerie Elletson, Jessica Furman, Alexandra Elletson and Hillary Elletson. Casket bearers were grandsons, Chad Strand, Jason Sandell, David Elletson, Joshua Elletson, Shane Furman and Cody Elletson.
Marjorie was born on March 27, 1926, in Marysville Township, Wright County, the daughter of Louis and Minnie (Ordorff) Kiphuth. On September 15, 1943, Marjorie E. Kiphuth and Dewey F. Elletson were joined in holy marriage at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monticello. God blessed their marriage with seven children. Dewey and Marjorie engaged in dairy farming for many years. They farmed near Buffalo from 1947 until 1959. In 1959, they sold their farm and purchased a farm near the City of Maple Lake. They farmed near Maple Lake's airport for 20 years. In 1979, Marjorie and Dewey moved to Buffalo. Devoted to her family, Marjorie enjoyed playing bingo and euchre, traveling, hunting and fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Marjorie was a faithful member of The United Methodist Church in Buffalo.
 Survived by loving children: Roger (Kathy) Elletson of Annandale, Judy (Casey) Strand of Annandale, Joyce (John) Sandell of South Haven, Randy Elletson of Clearwater, Mary Jo (Dan) Furman of Big Lake and Jim (Mary) Elletson of Buffalo; 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Lewis Kiphuth, Larry (Jo) Kiphuth, Shirley (Fred) Lange of Monticello, and Vera Finn of Grand Marais; uncles and aunts: Ralph Ordorff, Jerome (Fern) Ordorff, and Myrtle Bonk; other relatives and friends.
 Preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Elletson, in 1997; son, Dale Elletson; grandson, John Sandell Jr.; her parents; and sisters, Marian Marsolek, Elaine Nelson and Judy Holm.
