Mayme Teresa Urich, Annandale

Mayme Teresa Urich, 87, of Annandale, passed away Wednesday, December 08, 2010, at the Annandale Care Center in Annandale, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 10, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Maple Lake with Fr. Michael Izen as celebrant. Casket Bearers will be Randy Urich, Bill Neumann, Kevin Marquette, Randy Galles, Brian Urich, and Tom Neumann. Burial will be in St. Timothy’s Catholic Cemetery in Maple Lake.  Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Mayme Teresa Urich was born May 8, 1923, in Clarissa, Minnesota, to Joseph and Mary (Marosouk) Baker Sr. She grew up in the Clarissa area and attended country school. Mayme was united in marriage to Raymond Urich on April 5, 1948, in Browerville, Minnesota.  One daughter, Judith, was born to this union. The family farmed in the Buffalo area for many years. Her husband, Ray, passed away on May 8, 1995. Mayme continued to live on the farm until 2000 when she moved to Maple Manor in Maple Lake. For the past five years she has been a resident of the Annandale Care Center.  Mayme enjoyed gardening, reading, embroidery, and baking. Mayme will always be remembered for her “Kolache.” She was a member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, the C.C.W. and the Western Fraternal Lodge.
Mayme is survived by her daughter, Judy (Tom) Neumann of Buffalo, grandchildren, Marianne (Randy) Galles, Peggy (Kevin) Marquette, and Bill (Renae) Neumann, great-grandchildren, Alex, Zach and Sam Marquette, Matt, Adam and Natalie Neumann, and Nathan and Jake Galles, sister, Josephine (Richard) Sobotka, of Clarissa, sisters-in-law, Bernie Baker of Clarissa and Alice Laxen of Buffalo, and sister and brother-in- law, Pat and Kenny Urich of Maple Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Baker Sr., husband, Raymond, and a brother, Joseph Jr.
