Richard James Connick, Annandale

Richard James Connick, age 72, of Annandale died at home on May 19, 2012. There will be a Celebration of Life service at the Lampi Auction Center, Hwy. 55 and County Rd. 6, on Sat., June 9, beginning with a visitation from 3-4 p.m. The service will begin at 4 p.m. A luncheon will be served after the service. Richard was born on Jan. 9, 1940, in Monticello, the youngest child of Byron and Lilly (Elf) Connick of rural Maple Lake. He attended rural elementary school and graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1957. He married Pauline Couette of Maple Lake on Dec. 13, 1975. Together they parented their son, Bryce. Richard worked for Suburban and Cassellius Ready Mix as a driver and dispatcher. He also worked for Southbrook Development Corp and BPI. He was a member and former president of the Annandale Lions Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer and enjoyed woodworking. Survived by his wife, Pauline; son, Bryce, and daughter-in-law, Christina; sisters, Dolores, and Patricia (John) Kordiak; many nieces and nephews; in-laws, out-laws and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce.
