Volleyball team takes tough loss against Becker Bulldogs

Continuing to work hard and progress through their season, the Irish played the Becker Bulldogs on Monday, Sept. 16, at home.
Game one started slow and the Irish seemed to be off their game. They had difficulty setting up plays and gave the Bulldogs an opportunity to get an early lead. Mid-game, the Irish turned things around and came back with more consistent play.  Adjusting their game and playing with confidence the team won 25-13.
The Irish carried their confident playing into game two. With tough defensive blocking, the Irish stayed ahead of the Bulldogs. Those efforts and solid passing made it difficult for Becker to score, resulting in a25-17 Irish win.
Becker came back with strong serves in game three. The Irish had weak communication and struggled to pass the tough serves. The girls didn't give up and continued to work hard, fighting back with aggressive and consistent serves. However, the Bulldogs had an early lead and kept playing well throughout the game to win 25-15.
