The Maple Lake Lakers won all three of their games last week to move to 18-1 and clinch the North Star League regular season with three games left to play. Each game was exciting and showed that the Lakers can manage to come back from deficits and win games that matter. Looking to the playoff picture, Howard Lake got a big boost from the Laker victories over Hutchinson Huskies and Delano Athletics and moved into second place in the NSL at 14-5.
