In early May, concerned over a potential proliferation of solar farms in Wright County, an issue that came to light following complaints in Buffalo Township over a state-mandated solar farm that angered township residents, the Wright County Board of Commissioners imposed a moratorium on new applications. At the May 24 meeting of the county board, Planning and Zoning Administrator Sean Riley presented the board with an update on the creation of a solar farm work group.
