SUMMARY OF CORINNA
TOWNSHIP ORDINANCE 2016-01 (Land Use Ordinance)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Corinna, Wright County, Minnesota, have adopted Ordinance 2016-01 (“Land Use Ordinance”), an Ordinance Amending Ordinance 2015-01 effective immediately. Said Ordinance has been adopted for the purpose of clarifying regulations regarding solar energy systems, amending numerous regulations regarding signage, allowing for pool covers instead of fences around swimming pools, allowing for electrified fencing in residential zones when for permitted agricultural uses, required land use permits for buildings larger than 100 sq. ft. on lots less than 20,000 sq. ft. in size, raising the size of building requiring a building permit from over 120 sq. ft. to over 200 sq. ft., eliminating a 2,000 sq. ft. limit on the size of accessory buildings in the R-2 zoning district, the imposition of a $50.00 permit fee for land-use only permits, an other minor amendments relating to referenced state statutes or international building codes. A printed copy of the Ordinance is available for inspection by any person at the office of the Town Clerk, the office of the County Recorder, in the County Law Library, at the Annandale and Maple Lake Public Library and is available on-line for download at www.hometownplanning.com.
