Jason James Siemieniewski, 45, of Maple Lake, MN, formerly of Geneseo, ND, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016, at his home. A gathering of family and friends was held Thursday, September 15, from 7-9 p.m. at The V in Maple Lake. Funeral service was Friday, September 16, at 11:00 a.m. at the Frank Family Funeral Home, Lidgerwood, ND, with burial at St. Martin’s Cemetery, Geneseo, ND. Fr. Jason Lefor officiated. Pallbearers were: Joe Vaplon, Brian Lesner, Justin Siemieniewski, Jon Siemieniewski, Kevin Siemieniewski, Kevin Nelson, Les Bergstrom and Brad Glarum.
Jason James Siemieniewski was born December 27, 1970, at St. Louis Park, MN, the son of Paul and Gloria (Mulock) Siemieniewski. He grew up near Geneseo, ND, and graduated from Lidgerwood High School. After high school he lived in Florida for a couple years moving to Maple Lake in 2001. In 2001 he married Sherri Griggs at Cayuga, ND.
Jason enjoyed fishing and hunting, spending time with his nephews, and helping people.
He is survived by his mother: Gloria Nord, Maple Lake; brothers: Gerald, Maple Lake, and Jeffrey, Cooperstown, ND; three nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jason is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; father, Paul; and brother, Jay Lee.
Frank Family Funeral Home, Lidgerwood, ND is in charge of the arrangements.
