Runners do well at CMC finale

Five Maple Lake cross country runners earned all-conference honors at the Central Minnesota Conference meet in Pierz Tuesday, Oct. 18, on their way to second- and seventh-place team finishes.
Gus DeMarais, an Irish eighth grader, posted the top finish for the home team and led the girls to second place overall. Her fourth-place finish in 20:02.60 earned her all-conference honors.
Michael Miller led the boys team to seventh overall with his 12th-place individual finish in 18:31.10. He earned all-conference honorable mention.
