Summary
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Lauer, to approve the agenda with the addition of Tree of Hope Report, Totz property, and Radio Communications for Water Tower under Storm repair. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Geyen/Lauer, to approve the Consent Agenda. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Northenscold, to adopt Resolution #2016-54, to approve the 2017 Final Tax Levy of $1,076,720.00 and to approve the 2017 Final Budget of $1,834,407.00. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Jude, to approve the 2017 Budgets for all enterprise funds, special revenue funds, capital improvement funds, and debt service funds as submitted in the Council packet.
A motion was m/s/p, Lauer/Jude, voted to affirm that the City lot at the corner of Birch Ave. and Division Street is for sale. Northenscold and Geyen opposed; motion carried.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Lauer, to block the portion of First Street E from Pleasant Street to County Road 8 until the culvert can be repaired. All present voted in favor
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Geyen, to purchase the Tank to WTP Radio Communication system at a cost of $11,926.00. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Geyen/Kissock, to order John Haack to comply with the following conditions on his property at 110 Birch Ave. S:
• Within 1 week: The wood tables on the south side of the building may remain, 2 large safes may remain provided they are locked, however if there are future violations by adding more, all must be removed, and everything else must be removed; licensed and operable vehicles parked on the hard surface may remain.
• Within 2 weeks: Remove items from the porch. Pallets need to be removed so as to not be visible above the fence.
• Within 3 weeks: Gate on the northeast side of the building must not be able to be seen through.
All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Geyen/Lauer, to adjourn the meeting at 9:07 p.m. All present voted in favor.
