Board lays out committee/advisory board assignments

At the first meeting of every year, the Wright County Board of Commissioners determines what may be their most important job of the entire year – dividing up
the committee and advisory board assignments for the coming year. As part of the Jan. 3 agenda, the board divvied up those assignments for 2017.
“I believe our committee system is the most important aspect of being a county commissioner,” Commissioner Mark Daleiden said. “If we didn’t do these committee assignments, work just wouldn’t get done at the county board level. It allows us to vet out issues that we face and give the board the background and research needed to make informed decisions.”
