Girls hoops end season with losses

The Maple Lake girls basketball team ended its regular season with two losses last week, and will go into playoffs, Thursday, March 2, as the No. 8 seed.
The Irish traveled to Paynesville on Tuesday, March 21, to take on the Central Minnesota Conference Bulldogs and lost 48-34.
On Thursday, Feb. 23, Maple Lake hosted Kimball and fell 54-41 to the tall Cubs who claimed the top spot in CMC standings this season.
