Irish battle cold and wind at home meet

The Maple Lake Irish did well at its first home track and field meet, Tuesday, April 18, in a dual with Lester Prairie-Holy Trinity.
Both boys and girls teams came out winners, defeating the Bulldogs 130 to 48 (girls) and 123 to 58 (boys) despite cold, windy weather.
Several athletes took home top honors, and many placed in the top four.
