Rosemary Kathryn Carlson, age 75, of Annandale, died Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Wellstead of Rogers in Rogers, Minnesota.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale with Rev. Thomas Queck officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Annandale. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Thursday, at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Maple Lake Library. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
Rosemary Kathryn Carlson was born October 20, 1941, in Annandale to Herbert and Evelyn (Strecker) Gall. She graduated from Annandale High School with the Class of 1959 and furthered her education with a Bachelor Degree from St. Cloud State University. She taught physical education for a couple years prior to working as a librarian for many years in the Maple Lake School District. After retirement, she moved to Moore, OK, prior to moving back to Annandale and finally into the Wellstead of Rogers. Rosemary was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, a former member of the Wright County Saddle Club, a former president of the Weimaraner Club of America and was a Hunt Test judge. She enjoyed horses, loved books and was a dog enthusiast.
She is survived by her sons, Chuck Carlson of Annandale and Doug (Amanda) Carlson of Savage; grandchildren, Eric and Emma; and sister, Barbara (Randy) Bednar of Waverly.
