Corinna Township cleans up and gives back to MN

On Monday, September 18, huge machinery owned by Environmental Wood Supply was at the Corinna Township Hall to chip trees and other organic debris that the locals have gathered for the year. Once the trees and debris are chipped, they are loaded into a truck and brought to St. Paul, where Xcel Energy takes the material and burns it, turning it into renewable energy for the state. Other neighboring cities who take advantage of this service are Albertville, Delano, Cokato and Annandale. (Photo by Nick Pawlenty)
