Cross country teams do well at multiple meets

Maple Lake’s boys and girls cross country teams competed in two meets last week.
On Tuesday, Sept. 12, the Irish traveled to Mora for the 16-team invitational that featured more than 100 runners in both varsity races.
The girls team finished 11th and the boys were 17th.
On Thursday, Sept. 14, Maple Lake traveled to Lake Rebecca for the Delano Invitational. The girls team won for the third straight year and the boys finished fourth against some “very good teams,” coach Ben Youngs said.
