The Irish volleyball team is still perfect after seven more wins in a series of away matches last week to boost their record to 17-0.
Maple Lake went on the road to take on Annandale, Tuesday, Sept. 19. On Thursday, Sept. 21, they rallied to beat a tough Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted team, and over the weekend they participated in a tournament at the Midwest Volleyball Warehouse.
Amber Klug went 11-for-14 serving, had eight kills, 17 assists and five digs in the Irish’s 3-0 win over non-conference foe Annandale to kick off the week. Game scores were: 25-22, 26-24 and 25-19.
