Irish swimmer ends strong season with Bison

Maple Lake freshman Trinity Geyen ended her swim season with the Buffalo Bison, last week at St. Michael-Albertville. A successful swim season ended for Geyen with two first and two second-place finishes.
Geyen finished second overall in the 50-freestyle with a time of 27.83, only 0.38 of a second behind first place
She was also second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 1.02.71 only .39 of a second behind first place.
Geyen was also a member of the 200-yard medley relay team that finished first with a score of 2:05.53. She swam freestyle for the event with a time of 27.53. Other members were Natalie Bobick, Ellie Carik and Emily Strommen.
Geyen's 200 yard freestyle relay team also took first place with a score of 1:53.47 and a split time of 27.61. Other members of the relay team were Emily Strommen, Zoe Carik and Ellie Carik.
After a brief Hiatus, Geyen will be starting back in swim competition this winter when she re-joins WAVE Swim Club.
