Canvass Meeting
The Township of Silver Creek, Wright County, Minnesota, will have an election of Township officers at the General Election on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the town hall located at 3827 134th St. NW, Monticello, MN, to elect three supervisors for a four year term and one supervisor for for a two year term and one Monticello-Big Lake Hospital District Board Member. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Darren Flygare has filed for a two year term for Seat 1. Chris Klein and Allen Brevik have filed for a four year term for Seat 2. Sandra Forsman has filed for a four year term for Seat 4, Mike Ludenia has filed for a four year term for Seat 5 and Brian L. Doyle has filed for the Hospital District Board.
The canvassing board will meet on November 15th, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. to certify the official election.

ORDINANCE NO. 2016-1
The Town Board for the Town of Chatham, Wright County, Minnesota, hereby ordains that: Ordinance No. 2016-1 adopted the 13th day of September, 2016 entitled “Fire Discharge Ordinance” is hereby repealed in its entirety.
This ordinance shall be effective upon passage and publication in the official Township newspaper.

The Board of Supervisors for the Town of Chatham, Wright County, Minnesota, hereby ordains that on the 13th day of September, 2016, the Chatham Township Board of Supervisors adopted the above Ordinance. Due to the lengthy content of the Ordinance, a brief Summary follows:
Section 1. Authority. Identifies the authorities used in preparation of said Ordinance.
Section 2. Policy. Identifies the purpose of the Ordinance.
Section 3. Definitions. Clarifies language used in the Ordinance.
Section 4. Applicability. Ordinance applies to all persons within the Township.
Section 5. Exclusion for Law Enforcement Officer and Defense of Persons. Ordinance does not apply to on-duty law enforcement officers and to a person defending their person or family.
