Florence A. Vieau, age 89, of Buffalo passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Sunrise Cottages, Buffalo.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Waverly, with Fr. Kenneth O’Hotto officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends called from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, at St. Mary’s Parish Center, Waverly, and at the church one hour prior to services. There was a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Eileen M. Kalway, age 85, of Maple Lake, died Monday, October 17, 2011, at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2011, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Maple Lake, with Rev. Peter Martinson officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Johnston, Peter Wyman, Larry Louden, Dan Beckjordan, Doug Wyman, Scott Everson and Richard Johnston. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, in Assembly Area One. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake, and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
David L. Lindberg, 59, of Maple Lake, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 25, 2011.
Funeral services for David Lindberg will be held on Friday, December 30th, at 11 a.m. at the Annandale Evangelical Free Church. Interment will be at the Maple Lake Community Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, from 4-7 p.m. at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Further visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, at the church one hour prior to services.
Margaret Marie Ottenstroer, age 97, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Lakewood Health Care Center, Staples, Minnesota.
Funeral services for Margaret Ottenstroer were held Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Congregational hymns were “I Know that My Redeemer Lives,” “I Was There to Hear Your Borning Cry” and “Amazing Grace.” Pallbearers were Charles Mykleby, Tom Pribyl, Josh Wiegand, Jason Linkert, Chad Ottenstroer, and Craig Ottenstroer. Visitation was held on Saturday, December 17, 2011, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment was in Kreidler Cemetery in Montrose.
Captain William G. (Bill) Pruette USN (ret.), age 65 of Maple Lake, died Dec. 2, 2011, at the VA Medical Center, St. CLoud. Bill passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife of 39 years, Diane, and two sons, Matt and Andy. He is also survived by his sister, Vera Ruth Whaley, of Knoxville, TN and two grandchildren, Ian and Lily.
A memorial for family and friends was held at home with military honors provided by the National Guard, St. Cloud.
Bernard J. ‘Bernie’ Schad, age 80 of Melrose, died unexpectedly Monday, December 5, 2011, at the Melrose Area Hospital in Melrose.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the Church of Saint Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal, with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. There will be a private family interment.
Robert M. Karie, age 82, of Annandale, formerly of Duluth, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at the Annandale Care Center.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale. Pastor Robert Karie officiated. Friends called one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the Annandale Care Center or the American Cancer Society.
Penny Lou Nelson, age 54, of Maple Lake, formerly of Annandale, died Saturday, January 14, 2012, at her home under hospice care surrounded by her family.
