Mary O'Brien, Belle Plaine

Mary A. (Baker) O'Brien, age 72 of Belle Plaine, passed away on August 27, 2006 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial was on Thursday, August 31, at 2:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine with Fr. Thomas McCabe officiating. Visitation was on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the Kolden Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m and on Thursday from 12:00-2:15 p.m prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mary O'Brien, Belle Plaine

Mary O'Brien, age 72 of Belle Plaine, died on Sunday evening, Aug. 27, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, August 31, at 2:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the Kolden Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Dr. E.T. O'Brien of Belle Plaine; two sons, Dr. Patrick (Katharine) O'Brien of Northfield and Eugene (Gene) O'Brien III of Hopkins; two grandchildren, Connor and Ellie O'Brien of Northfield; mother, Angela Baker; two brothers, Ken (Mary) Baker, John (Elizabeth) Baker, and two sisters, Judy (Lance) Gillham and Bonnie (Michael) Lyrenmann and many nieces and nephews.

Ronald J. Lauer, Maple Lake

Ronald J. Lauer, age 73, of Maple Lake died Monday, August 28, 2006, at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2006, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake, with Fr. Mark Huberty officiating. The pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be members of Maple Lake Fire Department. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Chatham Township, Wright County. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Philip E. Raabe, Plymouth

Philip E. Raabe, age 90, of Plymouth, formerly of Maple Lake.

Services were Tuesday, August 29, 11 a.m. at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 37th Ave. North & Vicksburg Lane. Interment was at Sunset Cemetery. Visitation was one hour before the service.

Philip was involved in numerous local organizations and enjoyed many hobbies. He was preceded in death by parents, Philip and Pearl; wife, Jean and granddaughter, Amber. Survived by loving wife, Joan; children, Janice, Philip, Joan (Russ), Jim (Betty), Jennifer (Roy); step-daughters, Pam (John) & Jill (Jerry); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials preferred to North Memorial Hospice.

The arrangements were by Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel.

Lillian Hannon, Maple Lake

Lillian Hannon, age 83, of Maple Lake died Aug. 6, 2006, at Park View Care Center, Buffalo.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m., Aug. 9, 2006, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake, with Fr. Mark Huberty officiating. Pallbearers were her grandsons; the altar servers were Hannah Sayles, Holly Goelz and Jacob Elfmann; the readers were Sister Elise Saggau and Heidi Goelz; the gift bearers were Sara Peterson and Diana Braun; and the music was provided by Sarah Goelz and Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox. Burial followed in St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends called from 4-8 p.m., Aug. 8, and from 8:30-9:30 a.m., Aug. 9, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There was a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Aug. 8.

Rose Jindrich Nesvacil, West Lafayette, Indiana

Rose Jindrich Nesvacil, nee Cikrit, of West Lafayette, IN, formerly of Cicero, IL.,  Riverside, IL. and Conover, Wisconsin, died at the age of 94.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 5, at 9:45 a.m. from Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 W. Cermak Rd., Berwyn, to St. Barbara Church, 4008 Prairie, Brookfield, IL. Mass was at 11 a.m. and interment was at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation was on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m.

Lillian Hannon, Maple Lake

Lillian Hannon, age 83, of Maple Lake died Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Park View Care Center, Buffalo.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Maple Lake, with Fr. Mark Huberty officiating. Burial followed in St. Timothy's Catholic Cemetery. Friends called from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, and 8:30-9:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. There was a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lillian Hannon was born January 31, 1923, in Bruno, MN, to Archie and Marie (Saggau) St. Peter. She married Robert Hannon in San Diego, CA, and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1975. Lil was a homemaker and member of St. Timothy's Church, Council of Catholic Women, Lady Foresters, Legion Club Post #131 Auxiliary and VFW Post #7664 Auxiliary.
