Esther Stuewe, Hamburg



On Wednesday, July 26, 2006, Esther Stuewe entered her eternal rest at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 20 days.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Esther Stuewe, age 86, of Hamburg were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg. Officiating was the Rev. Donald Andrix. The organist was Betsy Werner. Serving as casket bearers were Randy Thiesfeld, Dan Jochum, Michael Stuewe, Jeff Stuewe, Dean Stuewe, Josh Stuewe, Tim Stuewe, Chet Stuewe, Sean Stuewe and Andy Stuewe. The honorary casket bearers were the grandchildren. Interment followed the church service in the Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday evening at the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Norwood-Young America.

Ethelyn Violet Schultz, Annandale

Ethelyn Violet Schultz, age 77, of Annandale died Friday, July 28, 2006, at her home.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at Annandale Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating. The pallbearers were Jared Purcell, Joshua Purcell, James Purcell, Jesse Purcell, Adam Schultz, Matthew Schultz, and Kurt Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Joelle Bishop, Jeanette Purcell, Rebekah Schultz, Michaela Johnson, Michelle Schultz and Heather Schultz. Phyllis Johnson, pianist, and Jolie Holland, soloist, provided the music for the funeral. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends called from 4-8 p.m. Monday, and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, at the church. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Monday at the church.

Nancy Mary Seth, Buffalo

Nancy Mary Seth (Dahlin), age 58 of Buffalo, formerly of Waverly, Maple Lake, Montrose and Delano, died on June 7, 2006, at Park View Care Center in Buffalo.

Mass of Christian Burial was on June 12, 10 a.m., at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Waverly. Visitation was June 11 from 5-7 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano and also from 9-10 a.m., June 12, at the church prior to the Mass. Rev. Timothy Cloutier officiated with interment in the church cemetery.

Nancy was born Jan. 11, 1948, to George and Mabel (LaFave) Dahlin in Buffalo. She worked at a variety of locations over the years, including: Varner’s Cafe in Buffalo, JR Clark in Minnetonka, Ware Manufacturing in New Hope, Sta Tite in Maple Plain and daycare cleaning throughout the area. She was an avid cb-er over the years, being known as Misty “Ma” Blue. She enjoyed traveling, seeing many of the states, but her favorite was Minnesota.
