| A once in a lifetime opportunity
| The mission of the Friends of the Maple Lake Library is to coordinate a library for the community of Maple Lake that will provide local library services for people of all ages and income levels, gain a source of internet access for all residents, create a meeting place for the community, provide a means and location for the preservation of local history, establish programs for children and teens, and furnish resources for student use outside of school hours. The establishment of a library in downtown Maple Lake will make it accessible to all of Maple Lake's students and many senior citizens, and help to revitalize the downtown area.
| | | Our Effort . . .
| When the Great River Regional Library System turned down a request in 2006 for a branch library in Maple Lake, local residents would not take "No" for an answer.
| | | Donations . . . | Your donation is a lasting legacy to the local community. Your gift may be used to honor your business, family, friends, or as a lasting memorial. Gifts are tax deductible and donations of $500 and greater will be recognized on a library donor plaque.
