Irish boys fall to Litchfield, D-C

The Maple Lake boys basketball team suffered two non-conference losses to close out the month of December.
The Irish narrowly fell to Litchfield on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at home, 56-49, to start off the week, then were over-powered 63-51 on Thursday, Dec. 22, on the road against the physically aggressive Dassel-Cokato Chargers.
The Dragons stayed one step ahead of the Irish through much of the first half, Tuesday. With a little over three minutes left Maple Lake tied the game 20-20, then pulled ahead shortly before the buzzer to go into the break with a 25-22 lead.
