The Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake boys hockey team suffered a one-point overtime loss to Chisago Lakes in its only game of the week, last week.
The Moose hosted Mississippi 8 Conference foe the Wildcats on Thursday, Jan. 12, and lost 4-3 to drop them to 2-2 in conference standings which, at the time, tied them with Princeton and St. Francis for the top spot.
MAML started scoring 13 minutes into the first period when Nick Zwack put the puck past Wildcat goalie Brooks Stangle. Ben Ward and Charlie Voller assisted.
Chisago Lakes answered only seconds later on an even-strength goal by Nickolas Pautz, assisted by Mason Hill and Jace Meierhoff.
