Irish girls rout royals

The Maple Lake girls basketball team is 7-6 overall and 4-3 in Central Minnesota Conference play after three games.
The Irish traveled to Royalton for the first of four consecutive games on the road on Tuesday, Jan. 17, and defeated the Royals 55-38. On Thursday, Jan. 19, the Irish lost to CMC foe Kimball, 45-54, and on Monday, Jan. 23, the Irish fell to Milaca, 48-49.
A non-conference, non-section opponent, Royalton came out in a tough man-to-man in response to Maple Lake’s full-court pressure.
