Students learn consequences of distracted driving

In an effort to end distracted driving, the Maple Lake High School's Irish Mentors program, along with Safe Communities of Wright County, put on an event last week that was meant to show students first hand, the dangers of driving while texting. Students were given the task to drive a pedal cart through an obstacle course while texting a message on their phone.
