Only two losses mar the Maple Lake baseball team’s otherwise perfect record after five more games. The loss came at the hands of Pierz, Thursday, May 4, in the first game of an exciting doubleheader at Maple Lake.
The Irish got off to a strong start with a 6-2 win over Kimball on Tuesday, May 2, on the road before falling 5-3 to Pierz. Maple Lake claimed the second game against the Central Minnesota Conference foe with a 4-3 win over the Pioneers.
