It’s been a busy summer for the Maple Lake Lakers, but the team had a bit of a break last week with only one game before the long, Fourth of July weekend.
On Wednesday, June 28, the Lakers hosted the St. Michael Saints at Irish Stadium and fell 9-0.
The Saints scored in the first, second, third, fifth and eighth innings with their big inning coming in the second when they scored four runs.
Mitch Wurm had two hits for Maple Lake; Brian Goedker and Donnie Mavencamp each had one hit.
