BCT presents “The Murder Room”

Buffalo Community Theater kicks off its 30th anniversary season this month with a production well-suited to this spooky time of year: "The Murder Room." Written by prolific playwright Jack Sharkey, "The Murder Room" is a spoof of mystery thrillers. There are all the elements of a classic English whodunit- the stodgy upper crust, irreverent servants, a creepy old house with secret chambers, bumbling policemen and little violence. Although the title sounds serious, it's actually a full-on farce with zany British humor, plenty of puns, sight gags and silliness. Make plans now to enjoy an evening of laughter and mystery that will keep you in suspense to the very end. The production will take place at Buffalo's Discovery Auditorium October 20-21, 27-28 at 7:30 p.m. and October 22 and 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available from the BCT website: bctmn.org or at the door. BCT is funded, in part, by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
