BUCC performance benefits food shelf

Bethlehem United Church of Christ presented Morpheus in Concert Saturday, Oct. 28, and raised $3,000 for the Annandale-Maple Lake-South Haven Food Shelf. The 11-piece horn band played an assortment of classics from Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Santana, the Doors, the Eagles, Van Morrison and others. The group is made up entirely of volunteers and performs solely for charitable events. Cost to get into the event was a good-will offering to the local food shelf in time for its busy holiday season. A total of $2,000 was collected Saturday night. An anonymous BUCC congregation member then donated a matching $1,000. (Photo by Bob Zimmerman)
