Brad Neutz, director of building and grounds, and his staff are doing their best to cut down on energy usage at Maple Lake Schools and save taxpayer dollars.
Efforts like LED lighting, cleaning and maintaining equipment have already saved the district close to $176,000 in the last three years. The addition of solar panels installed earlier this year, which will be up and running soon, Neutz said, should reap even more savings for the school.
