After 15 years the search continues for missing Maple Lake man Joshua Guimond.
Guimond, 20 at the time, disappeared from the St. John’s University campus on Nov. 10, 2002, literally without a trace.
Left behind were his glasses, contact lenses, coat, car and credit cards. After weeks of searching surrounding woods and lakes, no clues to his whereabouts were found.
Since that day, Guimond’s family has been searching tirelessly for him and the search continues today. Guimond’s father, Brian, recently set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money to hire an investigator, and in April the word will get out to 2 million viewers thanks to the cable channel Investigation Discovery.
Earlier this fall, Brian agreed to meet with two detectives from the show Unsolved. They talked about Josh’s story and parts of it will air with other cold cases in the spring.
“It might get somebody’s attention,” Brian said.
